World Quality Report 2020-21

The 2020-21 World Quality Report gives insights on increased in expectations from quality assurance (QA) to support business growth and user satisfaction. To meet these expectations, there has been a noticeable increase in QA transformation, and this has helped QA and IT teams to confront the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. QA has seen a steady evolution in recent years, from being a mostly independent function, to integration as part of the broader team, and now to inclusion within software delivery teams. The pandemic has of course been a major challenge, but as this year’s WQR shows, a side-effect that cannot be ignored is that it has spurred software delivery organizations and teams to do more, and do it better.
