Shareholder Fraud Warning

We are aware that some shareholders may from time to time receive unsolicited telephone calls and/or correspondence which purport to come from Micro Focus or to be authorised by Micro Focus in relation to investment matters.

Micro Focus is obliged by law to make its share register publicly available on request and, as a result, it is possible that shareholder address information could be used by third parties to obtain telephone numbers and/or send unsolicited mail. However, in line with provisions under the 2006 Companies Act, Micro Focus will challenge a request to make the Micro Focus share register available when the reason given for the request is not acceptable to us.

The practice of Boiler Room fraud has been highlighted by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the ICSA: The Governance Institute, they have produced their warning notice to shareholders, together with useful advice and information.
