Malcolm Marais, Manager, Solutions Consulting, Micro Focus, based in the US, recently used his Micro Focus INSPIRE volunteering days to support St Matthew’s House in Florida, a non-profit organisation that provides services and resources to the homeless, hungry, and people battling addiction.
Malcolm volunteered to help plan, organise and deliver a “Cars on 5th” event for St Matthew’s House – a fundraising event to host a curated car sale for 300 special cars.
Malcolm says: “Volunteering for this initiative is important to me because of the major and wonderful work St Matthew's House does in our Southwest Florida area. It serves those in need through feeding programs, addiction recovery programs, halfway house boarding, and physical support. A little service goes a long way with this organization.”
